IngMar QuickLung® Breather System, Two Size Options

Supporting the efforts of a spontaneously breathing patient is critical in mechanical ventilation. New ventilator modes continually strive to perfect the interaction with the patient. Training to fully utilize these modes requires the simulation of spontaneous breathing.

The QuickLung^® Breather is an accessory for the included IngMar QuickLung^® to enable the simulation of a spontaneous breathing adult patient. The Breather has a motor-operated arm that opens the bellows of the QuickLung, simulating the inhalation of the spontaneously breathing patient. The QuickLung Breather enables new opportunities to demonstrate and test ventilator triggering and important modes of ventilation such as SIMV, Pressure Support, and PAV.
