Elevate Healthcare's Blue Phantom breast model is made of patented Simulex^™ tissue for elastography and B-Mode ultrasound training. This model is ideal for practicing a variety of ultrasound imaging skills including: using ultrasound, learning proper elastography transducer contact pressures, positioning and movement; acquiring and interpreting elastography imaging; recognizing soft tissue masses, breast lesions and breast tumors in human soft tissue; and using ultrasound to target lesions for fine-needle biopsy. The Simulex^™ tissue has self-healing properties, allowing for 1,000+ punctures when used with 18-21 gauge needles.
